In the case of a married couple, the consent of both spouses will be required for adoption.
-A single woman can adopt any gender child.
A single male will not be eligible for adoption.
Children will not be given to couples who do not have a stable marital relationship for at least two years. According to KARA rules, the minimum age difference between the child and any of the prospective adoptive parents should not be less than twenty five years. Couples who have 3 or 4 children are not allowed to adopt a child.
