Handled these operations by VR Chaudhari
VR Chaudhary has made his mark in the Air Force with missions like Operation Meghdoot and Operation White Sea. He has mastered flying different types of fighter planes. He has been a part of some very important missions of the Air Force.
Let us tell you that Operation Meghdoot has been a successful operation of the Indian Armed Forces 37 years ago. It was through this operation that the Indian Army had gained complete control over the Siachen Glacier in Kashmir.
This was the operation that forced the Pakistani army to retreat by our soldiers. Operation Meghdoot was the codename of the campaign which was carried out on the morning of 13 April 1984. VR Chaudhari played an important role in this entire operation, although the Air Force also had a major contribution in this.
Operation Safed Sagar was launched during the Kargil War of 1999. This was a joint operation of the Air Force with the Army. The purpose of this operation, code-named Safed Sagar, was to evacuate Indian posts in the Kargil sector along the Line of Control from the occupation of Pakistan.
All these posts were captured by Pakistani soldiers fraudulently. This was the first large-scale use of air power in the Jammu and Kashmir region after the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Vivek Ram Chaudhary had a big role in this too.
