The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the group of T20 World Cup matches. The groups were determined in Oman on Friday. Interestingly, India is in the same group with its arch-rivals Pakistan. Both are in Group-2 of Super-12. The last time both the teams met was in the 2019 ODI World Cup, in which India won.

Due to the Corona epidemic, the T20 World Cup will be played in UAE and Oman instead of India from 17 October to 14 November. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and Secretary Jay Shah also participated in the ceremony in Oman along with ICC officials. The match schedule of the T20 World Cup is likely to be released next week.
