Telegram launches two new web apps

Telegrams, a famous messaging app, has recently launched two web apps: Telegram WebK and Telegram Webz.

For those who do not know what a web app is, it’s an app that is different from mobile app. Mobile app is downloaded and kept in the phone on different platforms but a web app is accessed through an internet browser. Web app can have the same design and layout as mobile app but can also be used through a web browser. Hence, the name.

The reason why telegram launched these apps is because Telegram’s web version lacked certain features such as sending stickers and making video calls. However, it isn’t known yet that why telegram launched two different web apps instead of one.

Both the apps look identical and despite having two separate developers, both the apps function pretty much the same way. Of course, being two different apps, there has to be some difference between both and you will notice some in the user interface of these apps.

One difference is that the Webk version allows you to mute the calls but WebZ version doesn’t. Another one is in the color of the search bar, which is white in WebK and gray in WebZ. And like these, there are many minute differences.

There is one important feature that is unavailable in these web apps: Voice call. Just a couple of months ago, telegram’s competitor app WhatsApp launched this feature for their web users. However, we think that telegram will soon provide it in an update very soon. This feature so far is only available in the beta version and is expected to be released in
