Insomnia is more common these days than it has ever been. Many people, especially youth, has hard time sleeping at night. Well, do you also have the same problem? Do you just keep changing sides and sleep seems to elude you? Well, there are some simple ways through which you can not only fall sleep quickly but also have a deep sleep every night.

WHY CAN’T YOU SLEEP?

Reasons are many but the core cause is being worried anxious or indulged in thoughts. We usually start thinking about random stuff or imagine scenarios, which take us somewhere else and doesn’t allow our body and mind to relax. Hence, no sleep.

SOLUTION

Now that we have understood the cause, let’s discuss the solution. So, now we know that we must make our body relax so that the pineal gland can release Melatonin, the hormone that helps us sleep, and give us a sound sleep.

All you need to do is breathe consciously. Some of you must be thinking “Is that all?” Even I thought the same when I heard about this exercise. Lemme share in detail.

There is one breathing method called 4-7-8 breathing. You just need to inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds and exhale slowly for 8 seconds. This will calm your body so much that you won’t even realize when you went into sleep and will experience a deep night sleep.
