A thrilling match happened last night. When everyone thought of turning off the TV, Russel stopped them with his sixes. High scoring matches are always one-sided but last night’s match was not one-sided. Both teams gave their 100% and took the match to the last over.

KKR won the toss and invited CSK to bat first. The match was played in Wankhede stadium. The openers gave a good start. The openers added 115 runs for the first wicket. Ruturaj smashed 64 runs and Faf Du plessis smashed 95 (not out). With the help of both chennai super kings put 220 runs on the board.
The bowling of KKR was totally flop and bowlers took only 3 wickets in the match. The starting of the KKR was very poor. Openers were totally flop and did not do well. The first 5 batsmen did not cross even double figures. Only on 31 runs, KKR lost 5 wickets and almost threw the match away. At this stage everyone thought KKR will get all out under 100. But Andre Russel changed everyone’s thinking and started hitting from the first ball.

In just 22 balls he completed his 50. In his inning, he hit 6 sixes and 3 fours. But Sam Curran took his wicket and held the match very strongly. But Cummins also started hitting hard and took all the bowlers on remand. Cummins smashed 30 runs in an over and made the match very interesting. But he got run out in the last over and CSK won the match by 18 runs.

Again Deepak chahar took 4 wickets and put the pressure on KKR. Lungi ngidi Took 3 wickets and sam curran took 1 wicket. For the brilliant batting Faf du plessis became the player of the match.
