Ramdev goes to Supreme Court

To seek a freeze on the police case against him, Ramdev has approached the supreme court. With his, remarks against allopathy, Ramdev has infuriated the doctors all over the country.
In a viral video he can he heard saying that “Lakhs of people have died because of allopathic medicines, far more than those who died because they did not get treatment or oxygen.”
He even called allopathy a stupid science and when his arrest was requested he said, ‘Even their baap cannot arrest Swami Ramdev”.
After taking different turns, this story came to the point where Ramdev took his statement against allopathy back after communicating with Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.
“We have nothing against yoga guru Baba Ramdev. His statements are against vaccines for COVID-19. We think his statements could confuse people, may divert them. This is our big concern as he has many followers,” said IMA chief Dr JA Jayalal.
Ramdev, earlier this month, said he would soon get the jab and described doctors as “God’s envoys on earth”.
