West Indies captain Kieron Pollard is known for his batting. Even today, Pollard has shown a similar feat. In the first T20 game against Sri Lanka, Pollard has made history by hitting 6 sixes in an over.
Let me tell you that Pollard is the second player to do this feat in T20 International. Prior to this, Yuvraj Singh of India was the first player to score 6 sixes in an over. Yuvraj Singh did this feat against England in the 2007 T20 World Cup.
Let me tell you that Pollard has created history by putting six sixes in Sri Lankan bowler Akila Dhananjay’s over. In this match, Akila Dhananjay took a hat trick and gave away 36 runs in his next over.
Pollard came to the ground after the fall of 3 wickets for 3 consecutive balls. He made his team win by making 38 runs on just 11 balls.
While batting first, Sri Lanka gave a target of 132. Chasing it, the West Indians started well but because of losing 3 wickets consecutively, the pressure came back to WI but Pollard overturned the entire match with 6 sixes in one over and the target got chased in 13.1 overs.
Talking about international cricket, Herschelle Gibbs was the first to score 6 sixes in an over in a 50th over match, after that Yuvraj Singh was the one who showed it in the T20 match and now Pollard is also included in this list.
