Everyone is familiar with the condition of health institutes in Delhi with the rising cases of coronavirus. There is shortage of beds and oxygen that is causing pressure of the medical practitioners and panic among people.
To ease some of it out, On Monday, a new hospital called Sardar Patel Covid Care Center has been opened in the Chattarpur, New Delhi.
This hospital has a facility of 500 oxygen beds. And on the top of it, an ICU with 200 beds is going to be available soon. The operation of this hospital is in the hands of ITBP.
Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal paid a visit here and checked everything. He mentioned the facility of 500 beds being provided from today only. And ICU with 200 beds will be provided very soon. He even thanked the central government for the medical staff.
This hospital has some guidelines to follow while admitting a patient. All those patients who would want to be admitted directly to the hospital will first need to get permission from DSO. Without that, nobody will be allowed admission.
Patients will be required to call in and give their information on call before coming to the hospital. The details such as Name, age, address, contact number, SPO 2 level, pulse rate and other diseases will be needed.
All the patients brought to this hospital will be checked at the reception first and then a bed will be allotted to them. They will also be provided with a kit. Apart from this, medicines, food and treatment will be free of cost.
