Although the cases of coronavirus in the country are gradually decreasing. So now states are extending the lockdowns until complete safety is ensured. Maharashtra Extends Lockdown till June 15 but has also introduced some relaxations.
Essential shops operating from 7 am to 11 am may be allowed to function from 7 am till 2 pm.
The decision of letting non-essential shops is yet to be taken. If they granted the permission, the time limit won’t exceed the one set for essential shops and also opening on weekends won’t be allowed.
Delivery of essential and non-essential items may be allowed through e-commerce.
There will be restrictions on the movement after 3 PM. Exemptions to this rule are for medical and other emergencies, or home deliveries.
All government offices can function with 25% attendance except the ones having the nature of their work directly involved with Coronavirus.
The shops related to agriculture sector to stay open till 2 pm on weekend and this timing may get extended, keeping the requirement of sowing season in mind.
On Sunday, Maharashtra recorded 18,600 fresh cases and 402 deaths; this takes the total number of cases to 57,31,815 and the death toll to 94,844. The number of recoveries, on the other hand, were 22,532, which were more than the new cases.
