The capital of the country, Delhi, is suffering severely from the second wave of coronavirus. The cases are increasing daily. Given this, the Delhi government has extended the lockdown period by one week. Kejriwal said that this decision has been taken after much consideration. Lockdown has been the only route due to increasing cases.
Kejriwal said that due to increasing cases, we are extending this lockdown. CM Arvind Kejriwal said that due to this wave of Corona, it has been decided to increase the lockdown in the state. The lockdown has been extended to 5 pm on the morning of 3 May.
This second wave of corona has the highest demand for oxygen. Kejriwal has said that we need 700 tonnes of oxygen. On which the Central Government has approved to deliver 490 tonnes. But now only 330 tons of oxygen is being received. Due to this, there is an increasing shortage of oxygen in Delhi.
24,103 new Corona cases have been recorded in Delhi in the past. The most important thing is that 357 people have died in 24 hours, which is the biggest figure till date. In Delhi, now the positive rate has also gone up to 32.27%. Currently, 93080 patients are being treated in Delhi.
