Having that said, here’s a list of things you can do to have hygienic nails.

  • Cut them whenever they grow to a certain length. The time can differ for different people. Some may have to cut them once a week, twice a week or maybe once in 10 days.
  • If they get too hard, keep your hands in bearable warm water for some time. It will soften them and also relax your fingers if they are stiff.
  • If you have cut them in the wrong wat and they feel sharp, use a nail filer.
  • Apply oil on them to keep them soft, if you don’t have a nail filer. Having oil applied on the nails will automatically reduce the sharpness of wrongly-cut.
