A video went viral for the last few days. In which it was shown that a man had saved the life of a child falling on a railway track. The man is a railway pointsman named Mayur Shelke. Mayur Shelke saved the child, not caring about his life. The recording of which was done in the CCTV camera installed. After which that video went viral.
Mayur Shelke was also praised on social media. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, businessmen Anand Mahindra and Gautam Adani, and actor R Madhavan have also praised him. And JAWA motorcycle has gifted him a bike for the bravery of the mayur.

The ministry of railways has said that he was given a reward of 50,000 rupees for the bravery he showed. On this, Mayur Shelke said that half the amount of the reward was spent on the education of the remaining student, whose life he had saved.
