Makhan Mishri 

There is a story behind to offer Makhan Mishri to Lord Krishna, actually he was very fond of Makhan that`s why he is also known as Makhan Chor. 

Makhan Mishri is a very easy and quick recipe. You only need to do put milk cream into grinder and stir it until it becomes the thick paste , then it turns into Makhan. 

Make a ball of it and add some crystal of sugar in it. 

Makhana Kheer 

Steps:

Roasted process 

  1. Heat 2 to 3 table spoon ghee in pan.
  2. Add the makhana and Dry fruits [Cashews , Almonds ]
  3. Roast 1 cup of Makhana and some dry fruits in ghee till it becomes crunchy. 
  4. The Dry fruits will also get golden stir often while roasting them.
  5. Then take out it in a plate and keep aside.

Kheer process

  1. Heat 2 cups of milk in a thick pan, stir it continuously so that the milk does not scorch from bottom.
  2. Let the milk boil completely. 
  3. Add half Makhana in the boiled Milk and add sugar, cardamom seeds and saffron if you want. 
  4. Lefted out  half Makhana put into mixer and grind it until it makes powder.
  5. Then add it into the boiled Milk. 
  6. Boiled it in low flames until Makhana decay completely also stir it on intervals. 
  7. Scrap the evaporated milk solids from side and add to the milk.
  8. Lastly add the golden dry fruits { blendand sliced it }and raisins.
  9. Stir and simmer Makhana Kheer for a minute.

Now the tastier and healthier Kheer is ready to eat. 

Served it hot or chilled as well.
