Ravindra Jadeja performed brilliantly in his last match. With his performance Csk beat the Rcb by 69 runs and now reached at the top of the table. Let me tell you, Jadeja smashed 37 runs in an over and changed the scenario of the match. This the most expensive over in the history of IPL.
Chennai super kings won the toss and chose to bat first. The openers of the csk gave a good start. They added 74 runs for wicket and Ruturaj got out on 33 runs. After that Raina and Faf du Plessis built the partnership. Faf du plessis completed his half century. On this stage, Csk looked at the big total but the purple cap holder Harshal patel took 2 back to back wickets of Raina and Du plessis. With these wickets, Csk went on the backfoot and the big total looked far from them.

But Jadeja thought differently and smashed 37 runs in the 20th over. The last over came by the harshal patel. In this over Jadeja hit 5 sixes and one no ball, one four and 2 runs. With this over Csk made 191 runs and set the target for Rcb. Harshal patel gave 51 runs in his 4 overs and took 3 wickets.

Devdutt Padikkal gave a good start to the Rcb but After Kohli’s wicket nobody did survive in the front of Csk. Maxwell and AB de villers got out by Jadeja. At some stage, everyone thought Rcb would all out under 100 but with the help of tailenders batsman Rcb made 122 runs with 9 wickets lost.
In bowling, Ravindra Jadeja took 3 important wickets and Imran Tahir took 2 wickets. Sam Curran and Shardul Thakur took 1-1 wickets.
For brilliant batting and bowling, the player of the match was given to the Ravindra Jadeja.
