There is a lot of stir in the Muslim countries of the world over the confrontation between Israel and Palestine in the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) of Muslim countries has also become active. The country which is in this, has approved the proposals of Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia to call an international meeting in the United Nations General Assembly on this issue.

According to the Associated Press report, the Turkish President’s Directorate of Communications reported that the two leaders spoke on the phone on Wednesday about the tension that emerged in Jerusalem. According to the statement issued, Erdogan stressed the need for the international community to teach Israel a stern lesson.
Turkish President Erdogan called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to intervene in this and deliver a strong message to Israel. Erdogan also told Putin that we should consider giving Palestine an international security force.

Turkish President Erdogan also spoke to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on the matter. Both of them took this attitude of Israel into account. Both say that the attack on the namazis in Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque in the holy month of Ramadan is a heinous crime. It is a violation of international laws.
