If you are feeling anxious about the impact Covid is having on the world right now, you are not the only one and it is natural to feel this way, given the drastic changes it has brought into the world in a year.
Since we cannot do much about covid except following the safety guidelines, we should focus on our mental health and to help you with that, we have some suggestion that has worked for many people.
- Avoid watching news if it makes you worry more. You don’t need to know how many cases have come up in last 24 hours or which state has the highest number of cases. You just need to wear a mask, wash your hands and maintain social distancing. Leave the rest and keep living your life as you are.
- Exercise your worries away. Along with some sweat, through your worries out. Exercising won’t just keep to physically fit and boost your immunity but also help your mind release the negativity and feel better emotionally.
- Eat well and sleep well. Instead of looking at the news on TV, plan your next meal. If you don’t cook, help the one who cooks at your home because doing so is anyway better than lying in front of the TV and being physically inactive. When you eat fresh Fruit and vegetable and exercise during the day, you are more likely to experience sound sleep. Hence, better mental and physical health.
All these things are extremely helpful in not just dealing with the pandemic crisis but in any other adverse situation in your life. When you are mentally and physically strong, problems don’t stand a chance against you. So, be healthy and be happy.
