Today we are going to tell you about an IPS officer whose weight loss journey is no less than an example. IPS Vivek Raj Singh, the officer of Madhya Pradesh has reduced his weight by 43 kg in just 9 months. Right now the weight of Vivek Raj Singh is 87 kg whereas 9 months ago from today his weight was 130 kg.
Chhatarpur DIG Vivek Raj Singh says about his weight loss journey, when I started walking, there was no such target and I could not even imagine where I have reached today. I was 130 kg and I used to think that if I achieved the target of 104 kg during the passing out parade of National Police Academy (NPA), it would be a big deal but that too was not possible.
IPS Vivek Raj Singh shared his weight loss journey on his social media account. He says that he was overweight since childhood. When he was in class 8, he weighed 88 kg, then by the time he went to the National Police Academy (NPA) for training. His weight increased to 134 kg, after 46 weeks of hard work in the NPA. Of course, it was reduced to 104 kg, after which the weight increased to 134 kg during the deployment in Naxalite areas of Bihar.
Vivek Raj Singh says that he has been fond of food since the beginning. So in the last 9 years, he lost 8-9 kg and maintained 130 kg weight. Vivek says, my weight loss journey started suddenly, I did not do any planning for it. I started walking, I was using an app while walking – step set go and while walking. The steps gradually increased and every day I took it as a challenge and my weight started decreasing. Lost about 28 kg in about 5-6 months, and then I came to know that I am also losing muscle. Then there is a fitter group on facebook, I got a lot of information from it. Then I included strength training, started focusing on diet, after that I adopted a healthy lifestyle.
Vivek said, I would request all the people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, food is a very important factor in this. Pay attention to the nutrients of food, we have very little protein in Indian food. Take protein It is very important, especially to gain muscle. Be sure to add protein. Also, watch what you are eating and how much you need and do any ‘physical workout’ as per your convenience.
