The whole world is familiar with the way India is being affected by the second wave of coronavirus. The cases are increasing rapidly which has overwhelmed the health institutes and medical practitioners. The shortage of oxygen has been making the matter worse.

The central government is doing all that they can to supply the required resources to the states. And not just our government, now the other countries are also coming forward to help India go through this tough time with the minimum damage possible.

On Sunday, UK sent one consignment of aid to India and the second one is due to arrive on Tuesday. It includes 495 oxygen concentrators (they help extract oxygen from the air), 120 non-invasive ventilators and 20 manual ones.

“We stand side by side with India as a friend and partner during what is a deeply concerning time in the fight against Covid-19,” UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a statement

US, on the other hand, is getting the raw material ready to be sent to Indian vaccine manufacturers. The president Joe Biden said, “Just as India sent assistance to the United States as our hospitals were strained early in the pandemic, we are determined to help India in its time of need.”

United States is also providing other medical equipment and protective gear. Also, France says that it will provide oxygen to India. Not just that, even Pakistan offered medical equipment to India. Their PM Imran Khan tweeted praying for a speedy recovery.
