ICC starts preparations to include cricket in Olympics

After the huge success of the Tokyo Olympics 2020, now everyone’s eyes are fixed on the upcoming Olympics. Meanwhile, a big piece of good news has come out for the cricket fans. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that there is an attempt to include cricket in the Los Angeles Olympics to be held in the year 2028.

In a statement issued by the ICC, it has been said that a working group has been constituted, which will be responsible for the process of including cricket in the Olympic Games. Efforts will be made to include cricket in Olympics 2028, 2032 and other Olympics to come.

Let us tell you that the demand for inclusion of cricket in the Olympics has been rising for a long time, on behalf of India, the BCCI has also said that if this happens then India will definitely take part in it. Now that the preparations for the Paris Olympics have started after the Tokyo Olympics 2020 is over, the eyes are on the future.

The ICC has said that about 30 million cricket fans live in America, so we will try to include cricket in the Olympics to be held there in 2028. If cricket is included in the Olympics, then it will prove to be very beneficial.
