The disapproval against the central agricultural laws is increasing day by day. Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Famers protested against BJP in Yamunanagar, Haryana. The Transport minister of Haryana, Moolchand Sharma was to attend a meeting there but before he could, a clash happened between the police and the farmers.
Many leaders including Moolchand Sharma, Kanwar Pal Gurjar and Ratanlal Kataria were to attend the BJP meeting but they faced opposition from farmers. Farmers, in their rage, broke barricades with tractors.
Police was deployed there and both the farmers and police came face to face. With a lot of hard work, police managed to not let the tractors and the farmers go ahead.
DSP of Bilaspur, Ashish Chaudhary said that against those who hit the barricades, action will be taken. For now, situation has been brought under control by the police.
Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said that famers are ready to talk if government of India wants to. He ever said they will have a program to go to Delhi and from 22nd July, 200 people will go to the parliament to protest.
Tikait cleared his statement about going to UN. He said that he never said he would go to UN with this law but asked for a fair investigation over the incident of 26 January. If here the agency is not doing so, should they go to the UN?
