Chris Gayle back in West Indians Squad

After 18 months, West Indies Player Chris Gayle is selected in the international team against Sri Lanka. Gayle is selected in 3 matches T20 series against Sri Lanka. 14 members in the team are selected for the T-20 series.
Chris Gayle played his last international match in August 2019 against India. It was an ODI match and Chris Gayle smashed 72 runs in that match but India won that match and after that Gayle did not play any international match for the West Indians side.
Not only Chris Gayle rather one more player coming back in the team after 9 years. Fidel Edwards is selected for the T-20 series against Sri Lanka. Fidel Edwards is a fast blower and he played his last international in 2012.
The West Indies cricket board gave this information by posting on Twitter.
On another side, Andre Russel, Sunil Narayan and Shemron Hetmyer are not selected for the team. Andre Russel is recovering from Covid and Narayan and Hetmyer are dropped from the team.
