In the second wave of Corona, many cases of black fungus are now coming up due to which one person has also died. On May 16, this case of black fungus came to Delhi’s Moolchand Hospital.
Dr. Bhagwan told that, in a 37-year-old resident of Meerut who was Corona positive, symptoms of black fungus were found. After being corona positive, he was initially being treated at home, he had high blood sugar. But the patient succumbed to prolonged treatment in the hospital.
There are cases of black fungus in many hospitals of Delhi. Of these, 40 cases have been reported in Sargangaram Hospital. After this, there have been 25 cases in Max Hospital and 20 cases in AIIMS. And 1 case has come up in Moolchand.
Regarding the patient who died in Moolchand Hospital, the doctor said that on 16 May, he came to the hospital. Then his eyes were swollen and his face was swollen. His eyes were also red and blood was coming from his nose. After testing, it was found out that he is a patient of black fungus. Planned the surgery with the same speed. But after surgery, the patient suffered a cardiac arrest and could not be saved.
Doctor Bhagwan of Moolchand Hospital said that the death rate due to black fungus is high, as well as it causes more damage to the eyes of the patients. The doctor said that by giving more medicines, the patient may be at risk of diabetes or other symptoms.
