Many phones these days are offering 120Hz screen refresh rate for an ultra-smooth experience. Finally, apple may also provide a display with 120Hz refresh rate in their new iphone 13.

The anticipation is that Apple will use their LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) displays in the high-end variants of iphone 13. So, we might see the new display on iphone 13 pro and iphone 13 max, assuming that these will be the names of their top-end variants.

For the base models of this series, Apple will use OLED displays made by LG and BOE. So, there will be an option for people to choose from. Based on their screen preferences, people can choose the model that fits their taste and budget.

The report that speculated this feature in the new iphone also confirms that Apple has finished working on its battery-saving technology for the new display. As high-refresh-rate displays consume a lot of battery, it was essential for Apple to ensure a quality battery backup to its users so that they can enjoy this new feature without having to compromise with the battery life.

Ever since these LTPO have been seen on Apple’s ipad pro, they have been rumored to come on iphones too. Although it is just a speculation, there are very high chances of seeing new iphone with 120Hz refresh rate display.
