After Kerala, now Nipah virus knocks in Tamil Nadu, case came in Coimbatore, alert

The effect of the second wave of coronavirus is not completely over in the country yet. Meanwhile, another virus has started spreading. Recently a case of Nipah virus was reported in Kerala, now a case has also come up in Tamil Nadu.

According to the District Magistrate of Coimbatore, a case of Nipah virus has been found here. All kinds of precautions are being taken. Now whoever is coming to the government hospital with high fever, it will be properly investigated.

A child died in Kerala

This Nipah virus took everyone by surprise when a 12-year-old child died due to it in Kerala on Sunday. A 12-year-old child was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kozhikode, Kerala, but died.

This is also a matter of concern for Kerala, because the fresh wave of corona here has spoiled the situation. Out of all the cases coming in the country, about 70 percent are coming from Kerala. There are around 2 lakh active cases of corona in Kerala alone.

What is Nipah Virus?

Let us tell you that the Nipah virus was first found in 1998 in Malaysia. Many cases of this were reported in 2001 in West Bengal, India. It is also dangerous like the coronavirus, although it isn’t airborne.

Nipah virus spreads from animal to human. Bats are also the root cause of this, but in the fresh environment, the fear of spreading the virus from human to human is also being told. Apart from this, there is a fear of spreading Nipah virus from pigs too.

The symptoms of this virus are high fever, which lasts for two weeks and causes damage to the body. The matter of concern is that due to this virus there is a bad effect on the mind of any person, which leads to death.
