1 year agoon

In a very interesting match RCB beat Delhi capitals by 1 runs. AB De Villiers became the reason for this winning. Because in such a stage RCB almost lost all big batsmen but AB De Villiers played traffic inning.
Delhi capitals won the toss and invited RCB for batting. Delhi thought dew would come in the second inning and they could easily chase any target. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal open the inning. The start of RCB did not go well. Because Virat got out on 12 runs and Padikkal got out on 17 runs. After that Maxwell and Rajat Paditar start building the inning. That’s why Maxwell hit some good shorts.

But he gave his wicket to Amit Mishra. After that the star player Ab De villers came on the crease. First he built the partnership with Paditar. Rajat Paditar batted well and made 31 runs for the team. But in the death over De villiers played like a thunderstorm. He hit very hard and hit 5 sixes in his inning. In 42 balls he smashed 75 runs and took the score to 171.
This chase is never easy for Delhi Capitals. Because the wind started blowing in the ground so that is why dew was not seen. The opening partnership did not do well for the team. The opener Shikhar Dhawan got out early and after that Steven Smith. Prithvi Shah looked promising but he also did not play a long inning and got out on Harshal Patel’s bowl.

THen Rishab Pant took the responsibility and started building the partnership. First he made partnership with Stonis and after with Hetmyer. Hitmyer played brilliantly and smashed 52 runs in 25 balls. With his inning Delhi capitals came close to the match. In the last over Delhi Capitals needed 15 runs and in the last ball Delhi needed 6 runs, Rishab Pant tried to hit a six but the ball went for four and RCB won the match by 1 run.

The player of the match award given to AB De Villers.
